Helping the homeless was a vision of Pastors Doug and Rosemary Lowery. Starting as a soup and sandwich line on Water St, it has grown into a mission formen, a mission for women and their children and a thrift store to help fund the monthly bills of both missions under the covering name of Decatur Cares RescueMinistries (DCRM). Residents are not expected to contribute financially during their stay. DCRM is fully funded by proceeds from Hope’s Attic, business donations and individual donations. Our main vision is to provide care for the homeless of Decatur IL. We exist and maintain by God's grace. Thank you for continued financial support and prayers for this community outreach ministry.
