 The only men’s mission in Decatur which allows a 90-daytransition period to find work,housing and to save money and in some cases reunite with families. We can currentlyhouse 20 men with a vision and a need to expand formore.
Larry Duncan works hard to help the men find their place in thecommunity. And makes sure they havebreakfast and a meal every evening. He arranges for large pick-up and deliveryof items for Hope’s Attic. He hasgathered many of the men throughout the year to help with the Ice Stormclean-up and yard work as needed throughout the community. We appreciate his faithfulness. Doors open at 6pm every evening for anyone to attend achapel service and have a home cooked meal at 7pm. Friday and Saturday nights have been drawingas many as 65 people from the streets for the service and meal. People are searching for an answer, at theWater St Mission they do not just receive a free meal, they receive a spiritualmeal.
